Toddler Eye Tracking Evaluations
Enilda Clinic offers state-of-the-art technology that allows Dr. Hayward to observe your toddler’s smallest social skills. This technology cuts the time required to evaluate for autism to about 2 hours and is kid-friendly. It also allows for diagnoses to be made much earlier than traditional neuropsychological evaluations. The age range for a Toddler Autism Evaluation is 16 months to 30 months old currently. The cost of this evaluation is $1,750. Payment is required before services are rendered, and a superbill can be provided to the parent to submit for out-of-network insurance benefits.
Therapy: An Investment of Time
Dr. Hayward’ specialized psychological services at Enilda Clinic are personal, tailored, and evidenced-based. Her primary value for Enilda Clinic is to provide long-lasting, effective therapy outcomes through parent-mediated strategies that work to grow the child’s coping skills and the parent’s strategies for interacting with and managing their child. Effective therapy requires an investment of the parent’s time, energy, and focus.
The real change happens between sessions when you and your child practice skills and experience new ways of living. First consider if you have the time to commit to practicing new skills daily. Typically families need 15 minutes daily at home to complete therapeutic activities.
Most of all, it’s important to recognize that therapy is a commitment to yourself and your child. You’re dedicating time and resources that could go elsewhere in the effort to have a healthier and happier future.
All services are self-pay only. Superbills are provided so you can utilize your out-of-network benefits.
All major credit cards, cash, and check are accepted. Flexible spending accounts (FSA), health savings accounts (HSA), and health reimbursement accounts (HRA) are also accepted.
PayPal financing is available as a possible option for assessment services.
Out-of-Network
We recommend calling the number on your insurance card to see what your out-of-network outpatient mental health benefits are. You can use this phone script to ask questions about therapy and/or assessment coverage with your insurance.
You can use your flexible spending accounts (FSA), health savings accounts (HSA), and health reimbursement accounts (HRA) for therapy or assessment that is out of network.
We provide assessment financing through PayPal if needed. You must apply directly with PayPal, and if you qualify you will receive interest-free financing for 6 months to help you with assessment costs. We can provide you with more information by phone.
You may choose to have any service through self pay.
Benefits of Self Pay:
Keeping your or your child’s mental health history confidential from health insurances. Health insurance plans may take ownership of your records at any time, including therapy notes, and share them with other providers on your plan or to determine your access to continued sessions. They also regularly require mental health providers to collect health information about patients that is outside the scope of therapy.
Receiving treatment without getting a diagnosis. This may be important to you because some employers are allowed to consider past psychiatric history, such as the military, law enforcement, pilots, political office, etc. Life insurances and disability insurances also consider past psychiatric history.
Greater flexibility and more supportive treatment. Sometimes interventions may be best guided by Dr. Hayward giving a home visit, school observation, or a community session. Additionally, phone sessions can be used to check in between sessions. These types of services are not covered by insurances.
Finding a good fit. The number one predictor of good outcomes in therapy is the good working relationship between the patient and the therapist. Sometimes that means finding a specialist, like Dr. Hayward, to help you meet your specific goals. Many times specialists are on fewer or even no insurances.
No Surprises Act. This Act allows self-pay patients to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the services they schedule. It also gives you due process to respond to providers when they bill you for more than the estimate. Dr. Hayward will give you a Good Faith Estimate when you schedule your intake. She will include the costs of the intake, 40 therapy appointments (which is the most a patient could have in a year), and a neuropsychological evaluation. All of these services are included because Dr. Hayward cannot know which services you need before she meets you. She includes 40 therapy sessions, as oppose to just one session, so you have information on the most you would likely pay for therapy in a year. Getting a Good Faith Estimate does not mean that you will receive all of the services listed, because services are decided at the intake between you and Dr. Hayward. It merely represents the most any particular patient might pay in a year utilizing all services available.
Rates
Intake evaluations are provided at a rate of $375. Individual therapy sessions are $275 per 50-minute therapy hour.
The fee for comprehensive psychoeducational, neuropsychological, and psychological evaluations is $3000, or $300 per hour for non-comprehensive evaluations.
Toddler evaluations for autism are $1750 and include the intake, assessment, and results in 3 hours or less.
Deposits: All testing appointments require a $1000 deposit to schedule. It is applied to your evaluation total to help meet the total cost of the evaluation.
Reserve your appointment
To reserve your intake appointment, you must complete the intake packet (sent to you via a patient portal link by email) 48 hours prior to the appointment time. This includes uploading a valid credit card. You will receive your unique, HIPAA compliant patient portal access link after scheduling by phone.
